What can I say. It's New York. It's amazing. And here is a selection of the photos I took. We crisscrossed that damn fine place, staying in Williamsburg, revisting favourite spots and hunting down lots of new goodness.  Highlights include: the bars on Grand Street in Williamsburg, taco's in downtown Brooklyn, the shopping in the Meatpacking District (allsaints! earnest sewn!), everything LES and SoHo, the New Museum on Bowery, the festive cheesiness of Radio City Hall on Christmas Eve... and so on and so on...

San Francisco Photos... and declaration of Love.

   

It's such an amazing place. From the grand 'painted ladies' (the name given to the amazing classic San Fran bay-window home, looking like beautifully decorated cake) peering regally over the hilly streets, to the grime and grit of the Mission Area and the TL, San Fran doesn't fail to entice and engage. The history of the beatniks and boho's near Columbus, and the hippies and stoners of Haight and Ashbury texturise the streets, stores and homes. Sure Fishermans' Wharf is full of tourists (like me!) but it is also home to the amazing meal of clam chowder. Gotta get the sourdough bowl! All in all, San Fran charmed me. Like I made a new friend, someone who I really really want to hang out with more!

One third of the SHM team spent the Christmas holidays in America- San Fran and New York. Here are some photographic hints. With over 2500 photos taken, there is still alot to get through! There are also a billion and one experiences to process: amazing meals, art, sights, stores...  Will post snippets over the next few weeks.
